my writing group

That's you guys.
My Writing Group
This is your new secret identity.
You all do write after all.
And you are quite the group.

I've been around family and friends a great deal lately.
Pretty much all day every day.

Being online...reading your posts...watching your vlogs...laughing at your emails...listening to your radio shows...while my Mama and Stepdad are in the same house...has upon occasion...brought up a question or two.

So...now I refer to you....my online blogosphere friends and acquaintances as "My Writing Group."

That's a good idea. Maybe I'll use it when I don't want to get that "gosh you really are a nerd" look from my siblings.

Works for me. Maybe sometime in the future, we can convert that to "friends who have actually met and shared a meal."

I'm in a group now? Does that mean I have to play well with others, 'cause that's not my forte'. Cheers Kat!!

We have a name???

Is there a song?

A secret handshake?

A reunion?

Teamster...you are a pledge ... LOL

Hmm, we have met and had a meal so does that put me in a different group or am I still part of the Writing Group? Not that there's anything wrong with that, mind you!

marilyn: there is no hope for me...they all know I am a total geek.

mel: I may have called you something else...maybe...

travis: smile.

DS: wouldn't that be great!

mateo: if you play with me you best do it well.

teamster: there aren't any like you.

bond: A reunion would be fun..but do I strike you as one with a song let alone the handshake....and by the way I don't hang with no frat boys. (smile)

Linda: hmmm...let me take that under consideration. Truthfully that is how it came up...I went out to meet a blogger and was being grilled by the folks.

cool!

I'm liking writing group - and glad it works for you!

I told someone recently that I write daily, for creative and communicative purposes (and compared aspects of it to the penpal exchanges I had in my teenage years) and then when I went on to mention "blogging" got the usual strange look and anorak references

takes one to know one, it seems

So then, I am out?

You know I am a frat boy...but gee, I am so much cooler than most!

bwahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaaa

psst..you actually do look like someone who has had at least one secret handshake in your life.

That's a great concept - AND a great honour for us.

Thank you.
