An afternoon tropical storm blowing in on the beach at the Mayan Palace. The warm wind felt refreshing late in the day.
I love having a meme to play that gives me a chance to post my sky pictures…I have quite a few! Visit the crazy working mom…and play along with us next week!

*sigh*
Swaying palm trees....ocean breezes.....sand.....
*sigh*
Frost predicted for the start of next week--no planting flowers for ME. *sigh*
Cumulonimbus clouds turn me on. Cheers Kat!!
I love those big clouds, especially the bright white ones at the top.
Absolutely gorgeous - there's just something about clouds that make you want to just stop what you're doing and stand there looking up at them. Or at least for me there is!
Beautiful shots. My husband grew up in Santa Cruz. He took me there once back in '85. Spent some time on the boardwalk and the nights were so beautiful and warm on the beach. He still talks about it very fondly.
Watch out, folks - Matty's using big words again.
I know I'm strange - but I like the gray, stormy skies! Who needs sunshine when you can have storms?
~~~Blessings~~~
beautiful photo
it's been breezy here of late, but nothing like that!
Katherine, I'm so glad that you have joined us. Your photos are amazing, all of 'em! :)
Nice job on this one.
Just glorious! Thanks for sharing.
That is awesome sky!
A compelling, appealing photograph.
Happy Mother's Day--to you and to the mom! :-)
I think I might need to find another photo meme. I do like this one!
Love it. Ominous and beautiful.
Happy Mother's Day, Katherine.
That is some sky...beautiful and scary at the same time
Um what does it say about both me and Matt that when I saw the word Cumulonimbus my mind replaced it with a more orally fixated one?
On that note, 6 weeks to Aloha!!
