looking at the sky ~ the first

Lookingatthesky

Tisha (not trisha) over at Crazy Working Mom launched this meme a few months ago when her site was rejected by another sky photo gig.  I've been meaning to join in the fun...finally got around to it. To see more of the Sky, surf over.

This photo was taken at a beach in my neighborhood, and shows why I try and take a camera with me where ever I go.

It makes me think a miracle is about to unfold...

I'd wondered how two such similar memes had come to be. Figured it was something like that. These are both phenomenal! And yes, I am envious that you apparently have aerial capability.

What a shot, Katherine. That is so tranquil - and your composition takes the viewer straight to the very centre of the image in every respect.

Bravo!

A truly magical composition of the beach meeting the sky. Thank you. A gorgeous pcture. You should blow it up and hang it on the wall, and send me a copy.

You can very nearly hear the angels singing! Love your view of the wharf, too - that's a LOOOOONG wharf!

I love how the pattern in the clouds is almost duplicated in the sand and tides on the beach.

Not Trisha!!! Bwaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhaaaaaaaaaaaa...you crack me up, girlie. :)

Thanks so much for playing along. We're glad to have you. This sky is amazing and like Trav said, it's awesome how the sky looks like it is one with the earth. Beautifully done, my friend!

This is an absolutely fantastic shot and you're right - it does look like a miracle is about to occur. I think that I would be standing there for a very long time just staring at that sky ...
