Oh my ...

My very favorite thing in the world of flowers is a vase filled with daffodils and irises. I can hardly wait for spring to find us here in the great Midwest.

We're looking forward to another trip to Skagit Valley for the Tulip Festival in May.

Reminds me of a joke...

A long-married woman named Maria who was always complaining that she was always cleaning up after her husband, Juan, that he was loud, and that he ate too much.

One day her friend went over to visit here and was stunned to find that there was a very large Toucan in her living room. It was squawking very loudly, and throwing its food everywhere. The friend called to Maria over the noise the bird was making and said "Don't you find this awfully noisy?"

"Well, Toucan is a bit noisy." said Maria...

"And what about the mess? Don't you mind the mess it is making?"

"Well, Toucan is a bit messy." conceded Maria.

"And doesn't Juan mind?"

"Oh," said Maria "Juan pack his bags and leave because Toucan."

"Well, that's terrible, Maria." said the friend...

"Well, no really," said Maria. "Toucan noisier than Juan and Toucan messier. But Toucan eat more cheaply than Juan..."

No daffs here yet, it's still too cold so I shall have to settle looking at the beautiful picture you took!

We'll get some here eventually - I hope!
