I usually manage to be just offensive enough to avoid this kinda thing….however once again Mel compels me to play nicely with others.

What were you doing 10 years ago?
1997. Seems like SUCH a long time ago. I was just about in over my head while involved in a battle between the UFW and the California Strawberry industry. The only time in my life I kept a loaded gun in my desk drawer.
On a happier note: I was in training for Fairy-God-Motherhood….being blessed with the addition of Little Missy and the Bear Cub into our lives.

I recently posted all about this.
Five snacks you enjoy:

selective philanthropic endeavors
trust funds for SugarCookie, Little Missy and the BearCub
(payouts staggered at various ages)
financially fix up the folks for life
a house on the Point.
cruise vacation for the whole famn damily~four generations
Five bad habits:
playing with peoples minds
cursing, swearing, et cetera
bragging on my kids
not calling people back
eyes glazing over when stupid people are talking
Five things you like doing:

Wow... I'm flattered that you tagged me but I did this one already.
Great answers.
You never know when you'll need to put the old hockey pads back on. Never say never, I say.
I am thrilled you tagged me but my blog doesn't tag...as I see is a must on this one...So it's fine with me if you decide to remove my name and tag somebody else to continue the meme.
10 years ago I had recently moved to Spain where we live now
1 year ago our son graduated from HS
- the only true snack is cheese and crakers
- I remember many lyrics if I hear the song!
- If I were a millionaire I would: pay my mortgage, buy an appartment in the south, buy a catamaran for Mr Mar, travel, invest the rest. Oh, some charity as well :)
- Bad habits? moi??? too much blogging time, maybe :)
- I will never wear leggings again, not even to gym class.
- Fave toys are my pc!!, digital cam, mp3, pedometer, microwave *wink*
OH..mechanical pencils!!
:-)
I got a pretty purple one yesterday!!!!
Ummm.....k.....I stole a pretty purple one yesterday from the desk of a therapist.....
..yeah, yeah...I'll confess and give it back....
But bygolly I do sooooo love a new mechanical pencil with a perfect eraser. *hanging head and going to the corner*
About that ' usually manage to be just offensive enough' thingy..
Practice makes perfect?
LOL
;-)
Happy Friday Ms. Katherine!
mar: that's cool...plus you answered most of 'em right here...I'm gonna leave it be.
Travis: I'm keeping the stick. That should do. (laughing)
mel: one of the women who use to work for me had to start putting little name labels on her pens cause they kept... disappearing... and yep... I just keep practicing.
Did someone say Mechanical Pencils? My ears pricked and I looked out the window to see the signal light up the sky that tells me someone is talking about mechanical pencils. (yeah, I'm one of the lesser known super hero's. I fix the computers at the Halls of Justice.)
I have a funny story about mechanical pencils. Well, at least funny to me.
Mmmm...I'v never had popcorn with balsamic vinegar! That sounds delic. :)
I'll hafta give it a try.
