Gosh...I grew up with those. And the woven paper hearts....and the big bulbs that everyone worried would start a tree fire.
Oh..and strands of tinsel and strung popcorn and cranberries!
Nowadays you don't even getta put the lights on yourself..... :-(

Lovely ornament. It might even inspire me to actually get in the spirit soon......
My favorite color is purple so at some point in the past, my mother started collecting purple Christmas ornaments for me. I'm not sure how my husband feels about our exclusively purple tree but I love it!
